Unimpeachable source for my ground-breaking revelation about water…

by g4allblog 0 Comments

Well OK not impeachable but I once read in a display about water at Epcot in Orlando (so it must be true) that in the time that has elapsed since 'the world' was created not a single drop of water has been lost i.e. we still have all the 'moisture' now that existed then and it is just being constantly re-cycled through our eco-systems ad-infinitum – can this really be true? Does water re-appear or can it be 'used' or to put it another way 'consumed'?

Blog: Why your hamburger might be leading to nitrogen pollution

by g4allblog 0 Comments

As The Salt has reported, billions of cows, pigs, sheep and poultry we raise as livestock guzzle massive quantities of water and generate at least 10 percent of the total greenhouse gases attributed to human activity. … Like other footprint calculators you might have seen for carbon and water, N-print works by asking you about your diet and energy use and then calculates how much nitrogen they produce.
