IID pays $2 million to consultant accused of financial conflicts of interest

The Imperial Irrigation District has paid the ousted consultant ZGlobal $2 million as part of a legal settlement, even after finding the engineering firm may have violated California’s conflict-of-interest law during the years it worked for the public agency.
